Chelsea have decided not to comment on the allegation of illegal payments made to the father of defender Andreas Christensen.Reports in Danish publication Politiken published details about Christensen’s move to London in 2012, which were obtained through Football Leaks.2

Christensen’s father has firmly denied the accusations

It is claimed Sten Christensen joined the Premier League clubas a talent scout on the same day his son signed for the Blues, which was July 1, 2012, the opening day of the transfer window following his 16th birthday.It is alleged Christensen senior received monthly payments of 11,400, plus VAT, over four years. Chelsea recently revealed they have cooperated with FIFAin relation to possible violations and when this latest story surfaced, a club spokesman said: “We will not comment further on speculation concerning confidential contracts or player related matters.”Sten Christensen told Politiken: “Listen, this is a story you’ve gotten from some Ukrainian or something. “I have no comments on this matter whatsoever.”Christensen was a first-team regular last season, but has not played in the Premier League this term.Having been first choice under previous manage Antonio Conte last campaign, after two years on loan at Borussia Monchengladbach, he is now behind David Luiz and Antonio Rudiger in new boss Maurizio Sarris pecking order.However, the player recently insisted he would not request a move in January.
