Fabinho, 25, looked shaky in pre-season and made his full debut for the club on September 18 as a substitute against PSG.His lack of minutes and poor initial displays saw him linked with an almost immediate return to France. But the player has now played down the speculation.I was told there was something in the press, but I never said I’d like to leave Liverpool, he toldUOLwhen asked about being linked with Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain.I knew I would need to have patience to wait for my moment. I’m happy at Liverpool. There is no reason for me to leave.Fabinho was also questioned about his attitude to his lack of minutes upon joining and admitted manager Jurgen Klopp wasnt particularly open about his absences. But the Brazil ace knew he just needed to knuckle down and train hard.He added: He didn’t give me a lot of explanations but I talked in training so I wouldn’t be discouraged and to stay focused on my work, without letting my head drop. I knew it was a passing moment. I didn’t keep moaning and crying. I tried to work because I knew opportunities would come. Now I just want to increase my number of games.
