But, in truth, the Argentine must look closer to home as a number of Spurs players failed to turn up in their first game since their Champions League heroics against Borussia Dortmund.Harry Kane did managed to get a goal on his return to the starting XI after injury but a controversial Chris Wood goal and an Ashley Barnes winner did all the damage. So who flopped for Tottenham as they failed to get up for their early Saturday match with Burnley? Find out below. Hugo Lloris 6/10The low sun and a high press saw the Frenchman struggle in the opening stages but produced some decent saves and couldnt do much about their goal.Juan Foyth 4/10Caught in a tough duel with Ashley Barnes early on and he struggled defensively. On the ball he had brighter moments but was taken off as Spurs sought to win the game.Foyth had a tough afternoon.5

Toby Alderweireld 5/10The Belgian was solid enough against an imposing Burnley strike force but had some small wobbles.Jan Vertonghen 5/10Was left raging when the corner was given from which Burnley scored but he had a okay game as part of a back-three following his heroics in the Champions League as a wing-back.Serge Aurier 3/10Still looks to be lacking in confidence and doesnt seem to recognise when its better to cross, dribble, or pass, which is unfortunate as a wing-back. He made a huge error in the build up for Burnleys winner too.Danny Rose 7/10Got forward well and should have been played in by Harry Kane for one chance. He remains strong in the tackle and never stopped charging down the flank. Hes getting back towards his best form.Rose had a good performance.5
Rose had a good performance.
Harry Winks 5/10A decent showing but lacks a killer pass, especially against a side like Burnley who sit deep. He was sacrificed for Fernando Llorente early in the second period.Moussa Sissoko 5/10The Frenchman looks far less composed when hes next to Aurier and while he put in the hard yards his lack of technique shows in matches like this one.Christian Eriksen 5/10Hell never come up short when it comes down to effort but sadly he didnt have the quality to play an important part in a crucial part of the season.Eriksen struggled to find space.5

Heung-Min Son 5/10In a rich vein of form but the forward only showed glimpses of his talent as the Burnley defence stifled him.Harry Kane 6/10Showed moments of class upon his return but Burnley defended well against him and stifled him.SubstitutesFernando Llorente 5/10For a man of such experience he didnt show any Spurs needed him most as he gave away needless fouls and made them look obvious too.Llorente lacked the nous required at a vital moment.5
